Journeys in the Brazilian Amazon that connect travelers with nature, culture, and conservation

Amazon Emotions is a rainforest-based tour operator specializing in curated journeys across the Brazilian Amazon. The company partners with international tour operators and travel designers to deliver seamless, high-quality experiences that combine nature, culture, and conservation.

Its portfolio is anchored by four signature, fully operated products: the Private Rainforest Refuge, an exclusive lodge set within a private reserve; the Manakin Riverboat, designed for intimate, wildlife-focused expeditions; the Zaltana Riverboat, a boutique floating hotel for larger groups seeking comfort and immersion; and the Amazon Riverside Lodge, offering authentic stays connected to local communities and nature.

With expert naturalist guides, strong local partnerships, and meticulous attention to detail, Amazon Emotions ensures reliability, flexibility, and personalized service. The company is committed to sustainable and regenerative tourism, offering authentic and responsible experiences aligned with the expectations of today’s global travelers.

Amazon Emotions has recently been recognized with the 6th Responsible Tourism Awards at WTM Latin America 2026, in the category “Best Initiatives to Address Climate Change and Biodiversity Conservation,” highlighting the company’s strong commitment to conservation-driven tourism.

Amazon Emotions has developed the Amazon Nexus Project (@amazon.nexus), an innovative initiative that integrates tourism, science, and conservation in the Brazilian Amazon. Through a strategic partnership with CENBAM (Centro de Estudos Integrados da Biodiversidade Amazônica), under the PPBio (Brazilian Biodiversity Research Program) framework, the project contributes to long-term biodiversity monitoring using the RAPELD methodology.

By hosting scientific research modules within its operational areas, Amazon Emotions enables travelers to engage with real conservation efforts, transforming visitors into active participants in data collection and environmental awareness. This model strengthens the connection between tourism and science while supporting the generation of critical knowledge for the preservation of Amazonian ecosystems.

The Amazon Nexus Project reflects the company’s commitment to regenerative tourism, fostering collaboration between researchers, local communities, and travelers to create meaningful and lasting impact.
