Amazon Emotions has been awarded Silver at the 6th WTM Latin America Responsible Tourism Awards 2026 for its work in biodiversity conservation and climate action.

Through the Amazon Nexus Project, developed with Amazonian Biodiversity Integrated Studies Center (CENBAM) and the Brazilian Biodiversity Research Program (PPBio), each journey contributes to scientific research and biodiversity monitoring in the Amazon. Since 2018, dozens of species, including pumas and tapirs, have been recorded, generating data that supports conservation efforts.

With a 100% local team, low-impact operations, and strong community engagement, Amazon Emotions demonstrates that tourism can generate knowledge, protect ecosystems, and create meaningful development in the Amazon.
