Tapati Festival, held every February on Easter Island, is one of the most authentic cultural celebrations in the Pacific. For two weeks, the island comes alive with ancestral competitions, traditional music, dance and rituals that celebrate Rapa Nui heritage. Visitors can experience events such as haka pei (banana-trunk sledding), stone lifting and storytelling, offering a unique opportunity to connect with Polynesian culture in a living, immersive way.
