The Great Baja Migration

Baja Expeditions invites travellers to experience a living, breathing journey inspired by the migration of blue whales, humpbacks, and other marine life through the legendary Sea of Cortez. Daily ocean safaris operate from temporary zero-impact glamping camps that shift throughout the season, from Isla San José in early spring to San Francisquito, Espíritu Santo, and finally Cerralvo (Jacques Cousteau) Island later in May. The raw thrill of open-ocean wildlife encounters is paired with Baja Expeditions’ signature glamping comfort.

Scheduled departures begin in 2027, with 5- and 7-day itineraries from US$1,995 pp.
