LATA is delighted to announce this year’s winners of the LATA Media Awards.

The awards celebrate excellence and innovation across British travel media, honouring outstanding content that inspires travel to and around Latin America.

The sheer quality and volume of entries meant the judges had no easy task in choosing the winners.

The judges were Daniel Benians as this year’s LATA Member Guest Judge. Alongside him was Kirsty Williams in her first role as vice chair of LATA, Sarah Bradley, Managing Director of Journey Latin America, Frances Tuke, PR and Communications Manager for ATTA and Stephanie Boyle, Head of Communications and Campaigns at The Safer Tourism Foundation.

The evening brought together the UK’s top travel writers, editors, podcasters and photographers, whose passion for Latin America, shines through in their work.  Winners and LATA members had the chance to mingle celebrating the talent and achievement on display across the industry.

Danny Callaghan, CEO of LATA commented, “With a record number of entries for this year’s LATA’s Media Awards, we were thrilled to be able to celebrate the extraordinary calibre of work – from evocative conservation features to compelling print and audio journalism. All capture the rich diversity and unforgettable experiences the region has to offer.  We were delighted to celebrate the winners alongside so many of our members“.

Our thanks as always, go to the judges for their time and input.
