Have you heard of T’aqrachullo? As appearing on the front cover of the National Geographic Magazine this month?
We visited earlier this month and it’s AMAZING! Covering 17 hectares, so considerably bigger than Machu Picchu, it was originally a Kana site, then Qolla, then Wari, and finally controlled by the Incas. Some archaeologists are claiming it to be the mystical "Ancocagua", a religious site as important as Quoricancha in Cusco or Pachacamac outside Lima.
