Tropic is a boutique DMC operating in Ecuador, Peru and Chile focused on tailor-made experiential travel. A National Geographic World Legacy Award winner, we have specialized in responsible tourism through high-quality operations and exceptional service since 1994.
Our purpose is to engage and immerse travelers in destinations and with local people based on mutual respect, bringing positive impacts for everyone. Tropic designs hand-crafted experiences in ecosystems we love and know well: the Amazon, the high Andes and valleys of Ecuador, Peru and Chile; the high plateau of Titicaca, the Atacama desert, Patagonia and the unparalleled Galapagos Islands. Curated experiences ranging from climbing the world’s highest active volcano, Cotopaxi; to learning to weave with a master artist in Cusco or hunting for the best ceviche in Lima to following in Darwin’s footsteps in the Galapagos islands or helping to re wild areas of the Chilean Patagonia.
