For more than 30 years, the Australis company has been inviting travelers to explore one of the most beautiful and pristine regions in the world. On board its boats, passengers sail through Chilean and Argentine Patagonia, over the fjords of the Darwin Cordillera to discover the mythical sites of Tierra del Fuego – the Strait of Magellan, the Beagle Channel and Cape Horn, with stopovers at exceptional sites at the foot of the Pia Glacier, in Wulaia Bay and on the Tucker Islands, populated by Magellanic penguins and cormorants.

From September to April, during the austral season, the Stella Australis and the Ventus Australis offer 4-night programs with a choice of embarkation in Punta Arenas or Ushuaia. These guided cruises offer passengers the opportunity to navigate through Tierra del Fuego, disembark on the mythical Cape Horn and discover one of the few uninhabited areas on the planet, this mysterious Patagonia at the end of the world located between Chile and Argentina.

Australis offers a wide variety of choices at the breakfast and lunch which are buffet, while dinner is served a la carte. At the bar, travellers may enjoy a broad range of selected beverages, liquors and wines, all being included.

Our vessels are of recent construction, well equipped and elegantly decorated. Activities and lectures in Spanish and English are held at the lounges from where guests may enjoy great panoramic views. All cabins have large size windows and private bathrooms.
